Why do adults ask children what they want to be when they grow up? Because they know that kids need to discover their passions in order to dream big.

I found my passion in middle school during my first year of playing the viola, an instrument I had never even heard of before. It was like a dream to have found my passion so quickly, but the journey was not always easy for me. I came from a working class family and I am the second youngest of seven children. My parents couldn’t afford to hire a private teacher for me. All through my years of hard work and perseverance, I have been grateful for the caring individuals who recognized my potential and helped me achieve success. Read More
